How will I be graded?
Each unit carries 75 marks. The mark out of 75 is then turned into a mark out of 100. These are referred to as UMS marks.

An AS Level consists of 3 units: Core 1, Core 2 and an applied unit. The table below shows the total UMS marks required for each overall grade.

For students wishing to take Further Mathematics, the tables above are the similar. But to achieve and A* grade, students must achieve 270 UMS marks for their three A2 Further Maths units; FP2, FP3 & an applied unit (ether M2, S2 or D1)
