Enrichment for all
The range of activities and enrichment opportunities available to all students is outstanding. In addition to the regular homework and exam support clubs offered in every subject, there are so many things for girls to enjoy beyond their timetable. There is a wide variety of musical activities including choirs, ensembles and bands. The Physical Education Department offer a programme of clubs covering many sports, with expert coaching in some. There are also numerous enrichment activities such as Latin, arts and crafts, a debating society, computer clubs, aerobics, drama, dance, Spanish, technology, and creative writing. All these are organised by staff at lunchtime and after school.
School Journeys and Visits
A range of school journeys is organised both at home and abroad, including skiing in Austria, exchange visits to Germany, field courses in geography, cross-curricular based trips to France and regular theatre, art, music, science and museum visits for girls in all years. Year 8 students spend a residential week in Little Canada on the Isle of Wight. Recent trips include those to China and The Gambia.
