Latest advice regarding Coronavirus

Statement from the Headteacher

Dear Parents / Carers

Re: Coronavirus

Government advice continues to be that we are in the ‘containment’ phase of dealing with the Coronavirus.

Consequently we are going ahead with our plans for the Commemoration Service on Thursday 12th March.

We are also continuing with our preparations for the planned trips to Norwich, France, Germany and Spain as the current advice suggests we should.

We are monitoring all advice put out by the DfE, Public Health England, and travel advice from the government.  We always put the health, safety and wellbeing of our students first.

In the extreme event of a school closure, full or partial, we will prioritise protecting the school as an examination centre for our year 11 and sixth form students.

For now it is business as usual, but in this ever changing situation it is vital that we have correct contact details for all students and parents.  If your email address or phone number has changed please contact the office as soon as possible to update us.

Yours faithfully,

Catherine May
