On Friday 27^th September Miss Wilson Head of Learning Support and Mr Casey Deputy Head visited Southampton for a SEND symposium and the National SEND Awards 2019. We were nominated in the category of ‘Most Innovative Intervention.’ This was a celebration of our work using Lego Therapy and the partnership we developed with The Old Vic Theatre. Whilst we did not win the award overall the nomination represents the hard work the department does to ensure we meet the needs of all our students and we will continue to strive to achieve this.
