Admissions Consultation
Consultation on proposed changes to St Saviour’s & St Olave’s School Admission Arrangements for 2027/28
St Saviour’s & St Olave’s School is currently consulting on proposed changes to our admission arrangements for 2027/28.
Published Admissions Number (PAN)
Year 7
Age 11-16 provision for the year 2027/2028, Saviour’s & St Olave’s School will have an agreed admission number of 90 students. The school will accordingly admit 90 students in the relevant age group (Year 7) each year if sufficient applications are received.
(A) Foundation Places
The Governing Body has designated 50 places to be offered to girls who themselves and/or whose parent/carer is a regular worshipper in an Anglican or other Christian Church. To be eligible for a foundation place written evidence of the child's and/or parent/carer attendance at worship at least fortnightly for one year prior to application is required on the School’s Supplementary Information Form (SIF), which must be returned to the School; this evidence must be endorsed by your priest or minister.
B) Open Places
The Governing Body has designated 40 places each year as open places, to be offered to girls who do not qualify for a foundation place, but whose parents have chosen the school for the type of education it provides. Parents applying for an open place do so knowing that the school aims to provide an education based on Christian principles.
Sixth Form
Age 16-19 provision for the year 2027/2028, Saviour’s & St Olave’s CofE School has an agreed admission number at Sixth Form of 30 students. This applies only to students joining the Sixth Form from outside of the school. If fewer Year 11 students transfer internally, additional places will be offered to external applicants up to the overall Sixth Form capacity of 120, subject to meeting the minimum academic entry requirements.
Consultation Process
During the consultation period we seek representations from:
● Parents and carers of children already attending the school
● Parents of any other children
● School Staff
● The Local Authority
● Local Primary Schools
● Anyone else who might be affected by the proposed change
