Extra-Curricular
There are many chances to take part in extra-curricular/enrichment opportunities in Drama.
Whole school productions
Whole school productions are a significant event in our calendar. They are an opportunity for students across different year groups to enjoy rehearsing and performing together. We encourage as many students as possible to get involved: we regularly have a cast of over 50, on top of a backstage crew, costume and set designers, make-up artists and students in the orchestra. We invite local primary schools to watch our final rehearsal and enjoy large and supportive audiences.
This year's production was in December and was Ilium - a new version of The Iliad written especially for our students.

Ilium
Our most recent previous productions include:

Oliver!

The Sad Club

Little Shop of Horrors

‘The Odyssey’.
Theatre Trips
We are incredibly lucky to be based in Southwark and benefit from the generous ticketing offers of many Southwark theatres. Our most recent trips have included: ‘The Woman in Black’ at the Fortune Theatre; and ‘Hamlet’ at the Young Vic. We believe that seeing live performance is the best way to help our students become creative and analytical theatre-makers themselves.
Arts Evening
Each July the Art Department organise a celebration of work across the arts department. This is an opportunity for friends and family members to come and see the best work produced in Drama in lessons, for exam performances and external projects.
