History Bake off

Year 11 students practice their baking skills in history! Each group were given a recipe with ingredients that represented different historical factors. One recipe had the correct balance of ‘factors’ whilst the other recipes were wrong in a variety of ways. One cake had too much egg, another had too long in the oven, the other had plain flour so it didn’t rise. The objective was the lesson was to show students that in order to write the perfect essay in their Unit 2 Germany 1918-1939 paper they need the correct balance of factors, links and time.
