Year 12 Success in Livery Companies’ New Business Competition

Huge congratulations

to a team of our Year 12 Business students who beat off impressive competition to be victorious in their Dragon’s Den pitches to progress to the grand final of the Livery Companies’ New Business competition. The team, consisting of Alana, Holli, Calie, Kumba, Bilen and Tia-Jo, were praised for their innovative idea that aims to support the successful rehabilitation of prison inmates through building skills and boosting employability. Their business would see prisoners create designs for and, in time, learn to make clothing marketed to socially conscious young people. They will now work on finalising the aspects of their social enterprise before they compete against the other finalists in January.
