Themed weeks at St Saviour's
Over the coming months there will be a number of themed weeks.
Over the next two months, the school will be having a series of themed weeks to explore a range of issues and topics. Many of these coincide with national and international celebrations.
The week commencing February 23rd will see the school commemorating LGBT month with a series of talks, assemblies and drop-in workshops designed to explore issues of sexuality and equality.
Early in March will see the whole school focus on numeracy. Through assemblies and classroom-based activities, girls will explore the practical relevance of mathematics and being numerate in the week beginning 2nd March.
Later on in March, the Science department will be hosting a series of events to commemorate national Science Week. Starting on March 16th, there will be a myriad of opportunities to experience Science without needing to be in a laboratory.
Just after Easter we will also be putting on our annual Risk Week. This themed week is designed to encourage all our school community to challenge themselves and take a step into the unknown. Look out for further details about the activities running throughout this week which will begin on Monday, April 20th.
